Meeting Held at Eidgah for Ramzan Preparations

Lucknow: A crucial meeting was held at Eidgah between the district administration and the city’s ulema to discuss preparations for the holy month of Ramzan. Senior police officers, including DCPs, ACPs, and forces from all police stations, were also present at the meeting.

The primary focus of the discussion was security arrangements, cleanliness, and other necessary preparations during Ramzan. Administrative officials assured that all essential measures would be taken to provide uninterrupted facilities and maintain law and order.

On this occasion, ulema and representatives of mosques raised concerns regarding electricity, water supply, and cleanliness during Ramzan. The district administration assured that adequate lighting and water supply would be arranged at all mosques and key locations.

Police officials stated that special security arrangements would be made during prayer and Taraweeh timings. Additional forces will be deployed in sensitive areas to prevent any untoward incidents.

According to the meteorological department, the first fast of Ramzan is expected to be observed on March 1 or 2. In light of this, the administration has accelerated preparations. Officials have instructed all relevant departments to ensure a smooth and hassle-free experience for citizens during Ramzan.

The meeting was also attended by representatives from municipal corporations, water supply departments, electricity boards, and other administrative units, who assured full cooperation in all arrangements.
